For a vaccination campaign, I was commissioned to create the storyboard for a 30-second children’s 2D animation featuring Zé Gotinha, one of Brazil’s most iconic mascots. The project was developed on a condensed schedule, with my work focused on the storyboard and animatic stages that guided the final animation.I worked as storyboard artist, assistant director, and animatic editor.

Eco In The City

Short Film - 3D (September 2024)

Storyboard for a short film following Ravi, a boy returning to the city as he reflects on urban life and his longing for nature. The story explores whether nature and the city can truly coexist.I worked as storyboard artist, assistant director, and animatic editor. Peter, what do you feel?

Personal drama sequence (June 2024)

Wendy tries to find out if Peter has ever felt love. But her curiosity awakens an unexpected feeling in Peter. Created in the style of Cartoon Saloon and completed during the Guto BR’s storyboarding course.The exercise was to create a storyboard using audio from a film I had never seen before. I chose the original audio from the film Peter Pan (2003).

The Saint and the Pig

Personal comedy sequence (March 2024)

Eurico, a poor old farmer and devotee of Saint Anthony, keeps a pig stuffed with money at home, saved for a lifetime. When he receives a letter from a rich neighboring farmer, he senses that he is after his treasure, until he reads it...The Saint and the Pig is a play written by Ariano Suassuna, "a northeastern imitation of the work of the Roman writer Plautus Aulularia" set in the northeastern backlands of Brazil. The board was completed during the Guto BR’s storyboarding course.

I'm Jane Choi (xani to my close friends 💚), a Korean-Brazilian Story artist and Illustrator based in São Paulo with a BA in Design.For over nine years, I’ve explored different areas of the creative industry as a graphic designer, illustrator, and commissioned artist. In 2024, I found my true calling as a storyboard artist, a defining step in my career and an ongoing learning journey.As a shy, introverted child from an immigrant family, I struggled to communicate in a new country where I didn’t yet speak the language. Drawing became my gateway to the world, helping me connect with others. This experience fueled my passion for storytelling through art.
